Current situation of the warm-up in the contemporary lesson of Physical Education. (Review)

The objective of this scientific article is to propose a theoretical methodological algorithm regarding the warm-up with an integrative, creator and participative focus allowing in the students the confrontation to problematic situations, starting from the creation of a favorable psychological and physiological atmosphere at the very beginning of the lesson. The authors define warming-up as a set of exercises, preceding the main part of the Physical Education lesson, carried out with the purpose of putting into action the inactive organs and systems of the body, with apathy sensation, preparing them to accomplish activities of more effort and complexity later on. The present work constitutes, without doubts, an important consultation document for the effective development of the class of contemporary Physical Education in the current educational context. The professor of Physical Education as a mediator of the process of the physical activity in the university context, should have into consideration the characteristics of the warm-up what would allow him the appropriate employment of methods, procedures and styles of work, to favour the productive participation of the students.
