Abstract

The report presented in this thesis is entitled: Educational management as the axis in the generation of administrative processes in the "Escuela Fusionada General Rivadeneira - General Terán", of the Province of Cotopaxi, Canton Salcedo, Mulliquindil Parish, in the year 2013 - 2014. First of all, the importance of Educational Management as the axis in the generation of administrative processes is highlighted, which will allow teachers to plan and execute their work in an orderly and collective manner. Educational management is the process by which the Directory or executive team determines the actions to be follow (planning), according to the institutional objectives, detected needs, desired changes, requested new actions, implementation of required or necessary changes and the way these actions will be carried out (strategies, action) and the results that will be achieved. From the most closely point of view linked to the organizational theory, educational management is seen as a set of theoretical-practical processes integrated horizontally and vertically within the educational system, in order to fulfill social mandates. Educational management can be understood as the actions developed by managers who pilot broad organizational spaces. It is knowledge of synthesis capable of achieving ethical knowledge and administration in processes that seek the improvement of the educational practices.
