In an increasingly globalized world, where the school presents new challenges and barriers that must be overcome, it is necessary the emergence of new leaders, a group of men and women fully qualified and truthfully trained to exercise educational leadership, capable of giving solution to the problems that have been emerging over time, for this reason this research aims to provide a series of strategies that serve as a tool for the teacher and that guide the application of an effective leadership which is based on the combination of two leadership styles known as distributed leadership and transformational leadership, in order to solve the application of an obsolete and inefficient leadership style that has been carried out in most educational institutions.For the development of this research, the techniques of data collection from the educational context were analyzed, allowing to define in the first instance the leadership style currently being applied by teachers in the educational institution and, on the other hand, the shortcomings that need to be solved.
