Workshop Activity of the Moodle Platform for Development of the Student´s Knowledge. (Original)

Abstract

The studies associated with the use of interactive platforms and their potentialities, related to their resources and activities, are the study´s object of contemporary pedagogy. Interest in these platforms has increased due to the accelerated use of them in the progress and prolongation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study´s objective is to analyze the potentialities of the workshop activity in the Moodle platform for the development of students' knowledge. The study was carried out through a quantitative methodology. The theoretical methods used were the synthetic analytical and the deductive inductive; accompanied by descriptive methods, such as the statistic of the median, and graphs of boxes and whiskers. Factor analysis was used, with statistical fundamental, as well as the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin coefficient, the total variance and the extraction method as principal component analysis. The researchers concluded, that the workshop, as an activity of the interactive platform, used in the statistics classes of the Metropolitan University Nursing career of Ecuador, has guaranteed the student´s knowledge development, which is extended to the entire population studied.
