Abstract

In this paper, the insufficient motivation of students at the Basic Secondary educational level to learn physics is addressed as a problem. The search for resources to increase the level of interest in the study of physics is based on the use of a set of representations of everyday life through which the teaching-learning process of physics in the eighth grade is generated, in a way that encourages students to be motivated to learn this subject, which students face for the first time. Based on the link between physical knowledge and everyday life situations, comics were produced and the learning activities to be developed by students were conceived, with the accuracy of its location in the class system and the methodological guidelines for its implementation. As a population for the study were selected the eighth grade students of the Basic High School Hugo Camejo, from the municipality of Yara, in Cuba, school in which the main author did the pre-professional practice; of them the eighth five were taken as a sample, confirming the validity of the proposal constructed.
