Tutorial to favor the application of qualitative methods in nursing research (Original)

Abstract

The teaching of Qualitative Research in the training of Graduates in Nursing plays an important role in the preparation of a professional researcher who is capable of making use of qualitative methods in population studies. This is the reason why a teaching model is consolidated in higher education in which the use of Information and Communications Technology must play a fundamental role. in the dynamics of the teaching-learning process through educational software; However, the existence of these computer products for the teaching of Qualitative Research is still insufficient, which causes deficiencies in the learning of Qualitative Research designs, in third-year students of the Degree in Nursing, belonging to the University of Medical Sciences of Granma: "Celia Sánchez Manduley." The present investigation has like objective: to elaborate an educational software supported on the Web that contributes to the assimilation of the qualitative designs applied to the Biomedical investigations by students of the Career of Degree in Nursing, using the epistemological, psychological and didactic foundations of the teaching process -learning in the subject Qualitative Research, necessary to address theoretical elements of content, health situations, data analysis methods; all of them reflected in an educational software that will allow an adequate assimilation of the knowledge system, on the qualitative research designs to be developed in the biomedical research, that contribute to elevate the state of health of the population through the Primary Health Care .
