Abstract

The purpose of the work is to assess the historical significance of the example of Ernesto Che Guevara's figure for young Cuban galleons belonging to the first medical science Detachment "Carlos Juan Finlay" in the fulfillment of his mission Internationalist in Bolivia.
An analysis of what I mean the example of Che as a physician and internationalist for these Cuban doctors on such a humble task in Bolivian lands. The work makes special emphasis on the significance of the history of that mission in that country. The internationalist missions have  had a great importance for all the health professionals who have been able to live this experience, since it allows them to exercise, promote and share their training of Cuban health professionals anywhere in the world, in particular this made in Bolivia allowed a greater medical coverage for its inhabitants, and to expand the values in the land and historical site where our beloved heroic guerrilla died. It brings the experiences of some doctors who fulfilled their mission in Bolivia and visited the fig tree. The aim of the work is to reflect on the experiences of the members of the first medical science Detachment "Carlos Juan Finlay" in the fulfillment of its internationalist mission in Bolivia, from the conceptions of the social medicine of Che Guevara
