Analysis of the Operational Financial Management of the Ciego de Ávila Agroforestry Company (Original)

Abstract

The current situation of Cuban state-owned companies is determined by the search for economic and financial solutions that lead to their efficiency. Hence the importance of carrying out this work entitled "Analysis of the operational financial management of Agroforestal Ciego de Ávila", is part of the economic periods 2013 - 2017. The study of financial management is a valuable tool in the hands of Managers, which provides the necessary information to evaluate the behavior of business finances. Based on the previous reflection, the present work was carried out, with the aim of applying techniques and financial analysis instruments that contribute to the improvement of operational financial management. To this end, we started from the theoretical foundations of economic-financial management contextualized to the conditions of Cuban state-owned companies and analyzed operational financial management through the use of different techniques. It was found that the company in the analyzed period has excess inventories, together with financial indiscipline with collections and payments, together with the excessive use of foreign capital in the last 5 years, reason why it is undercapitalized.
