People´s Calculation for the Quantity of Natural Wood (Original)

This article refers to an updated topic that is of great importance for carpenters, craftsmen who make wooden furniture, and people who saw by hand. Although, it was compulsorily established a law-ranking decree on the use the international Unit System (IUS) in Cuba, at present we keep on using the English foot (12 inches). The article also deals with the calculation of the quantity of wood obtained directly from the trees for the elaboration of the furniture for homes. The authors also offer a conversion table to convert the wooden feet into the IUS, of great use for people and professionals who work with sawing wood or not.
