Local development from the Municipal University Center of Buey Arriba

Promoting local development from municipal university centers is a priority of the Ministry of Higher Education. This task is complex in the country's municipalities since the development departments created in the municipal governments, in many cases lack personnel with scientific training that can promote the desired development, so it is the responsibility of these centers to lead the task. Taking this into account, the objective of the article is to propose a system of actions to favor local development from the Municipal University Center of Buey Arriba. To this end, theoretical methods were applied (historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, systemic-structuralfunctional); empirical (participant observation and document review) and statisticalmathematical (descriptive statistics). The results of the research showed the theoretical foundations of local development and its interweaving with the training of the professional, as well as a system of actions to achieve the previously proposed goal.References
