The fight against bandits in Buey Arriba, Granma: a new approach to its history (Review)

The research is carried out in the framework of the 60th anniversary of the fight against bandits in Buey Arriba municipality, Granma province. The article describes the confrontation against the main bandit gang in the municipality, for which protagonists of the process were involved in the study, as well as professors and students of the University of Granma, the University of Medical Sciences of Granma (Bayamo Faculty) and the Provincial School Desembarco del Granma, who contributed with elements and proposals for the systematization of this event in the territory. Its conception is not only framed in a historicist character, but it also intends to make known the events with their details, the popular participation, the identification of the historical places involved and the recognition of people who played a leading role in these events of the patriotic history.
