Abstract

The economic and social studies of the towns in the Cuban oriental region, in the XIX century were limited and they were influenced by the tendency historiographical positivist. The one that would lean more to illustrate with numbers and documents the feats and military campaigns that to approach the effects that the wars and the environmental and climatological phenomenon’s caused. Those restricted existent historical works on the colonial Yara, located spacely in the jurisdiction of Tree, took to the authors to channel this work, to contribute a material theoretically analytic and scientific that viabilizara the realization of diverse consultations and the linking of the Microhistory, with the national contents that are imparted in the programs of History of Cuba in all the teachings. Their elaboration is sustained in valuable documental sources, consulted in the most important files in Cuba, private files, libraries and the Institute of History of Cuba.
