Abstract

The objective of this work was to produce organic fertilizers with the use of solid waste of animal and vegetable origin, through the application of sustainable agricultural practices in harmony with the environment, in the community "Gerardo Marcial Jiménez" of Campechuela municipality. An organic matter production of eight tons was achieved in five months, which were commercialized by the UEB of urban agriculture, with an income of 240.00 pesos, which was used for training funds and a production of 5 kg / m2 of cucumber. Four training activities were developed with 113 participants, in which the environmental ephemerides were linked and notable changes of environmental attitude were achieved in the community, this also materialized in the transformation of the environment, where the production of compost constitutes a sustainable agroecological alternative , in harmony with the environment, which makes it possible to take advantage of the recycling of solid waste of vegetable and animal origin in the communities, to increase the yields of agricultural production in low-cost family backyards and the production of healthy food, reducing environmental pollution urban.
