Fidel in the historical events of Yara, Manzanillo and Bartolomé Masó in 1958 (Review)

Abstract

The article deals with the thought of Fidel Castro and his contribution to the revolutionary struggles in the Granma province.  The objective is to argue the contributions of Fidel Castro's thought in little-known historical events that took place in Yara, Bartolomé Masó and Manzanillo municipalities, Granma province in 1958. Methods of the theoretical levels (historical-logical, analytical-synthetic) were used. and empirical (document analysis).  Among the main results is that the history of these municipalities is linked to the contents taught in the Cuban History programs; data and combats that are not registered in the complementary bibliography of the subject are included; constitutes a contribution to the development of logical thinking, to the strengthening of values, as well as the knowledge of the history of Granma with emphasis on the Yara, Manzanillo and Bartolomé Masó municipalities, elements corroborated in the results of the students of the Primary education levels, Middle and High School and insertion in the first years of Higher Education.
