Methodology for the development of local development projects using computer tools (Original)

Abstract

Local Development is part of a national development strategy that seeks greater political, social and economic equality. Local self-management constitutes the obligatory foundation of any attempt at sustainable construction. In our country, the planning of the development process is conceived through the Municipal Strategy for Local Development, which contains the priority lines that guide the management of the process, the local development projects (PDL) are part of the project portfolio of the municipality. In the practical observation and in interviews with the local actors, little knowledge is appreciated for the elaboration of the PDL, for which the present investigation focuses on proposing a methodology that contributes to the design and elaboration of a PDL from the normative knowledge and the elaboration of the file to enrich the territorial development strategy. This methodology makes use of the multimedia "PDL Design" as a means of teaching and basic bibliographic material. It is verified in the evaluations obtained that the results of the application of this methodology yielded positive results in the improvement of their PDL, thus contributing to municipal development.
