Abstract

This article has the purpose of presenting the terrain - institutional, theoretical, methodological and geographical - where the experience of Technological Incubation of Popular Cooperatives and Solidary Enterprises of the State University of Goiás / Campus Itapuranga (Goiás / Brazil) begins, endorsed as PROSOL. The text is motivated by the following concerns: what are the possibilities of reading and intervention by geographers in the field of Solidarity Economy? How to think about the spatial dimension of the Solidarity Economy? The experiences of solidarity economy defy consolidated scientific paradigms, in what way? How to translate such experiences into teaching? Such questions remind us of the importance of understanding not only the concept, Solidary Economy, but its interface with Geography and Education. It is this dip in the preambles of a work that begins in the Pré-AssentamentoPaulo Gomes, and the restlessness that every approach as the unknown raises, the object of the reflections here shared. Theoretical review of the main authors of the Solidary Economy, fieldwork for observation and photographic recording, classroom learning will "set the tone" that the text needs to be put as an own experience of reviewing the work already done, of the one who will come and of our positions as researchers and educators.
