Abstract

The article aims to assess school canoe equipment using the Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM). Documents were reviewed and group work techniques and the Delphi method were applied in rounds. As key success factors for sports teams, enrollment, available resources, technical strength and participation in competitions were determined, in that order. It is concluded that the provinces with the best competitive position in the sport of female school canoeing in Cuba are Matanzas, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara and Granma. It is concluded that the provinces with better competitive position in the school feminine kayak in Cuba are Matanzas, Cienfuegos and Villa Clara.
