Process of Selecção of Talents for the Jump in Length. An applied experience in the Rail Club of Maputo (Original)

Abstract

 This study on the subject: Analysis of Talent Selection for the Long Jump at Ferroviário of Maputo Club makes issued on the process of detention and selection of talent at the level of Ferroviário of Maputo Cube. The study is a description of the facts obtained by collecting by completing a survey that was distributed to 6 athletics coaches of that club, which constituted the sample population studied. For the analysis of the data were made mathematical calculations with the aim of determining the number of converging responses percentages and divergent related on the indicators, assumptions of a talent and methods used by the club to make the detectand selection of talent. The conclusions show the presence of a method to get new talent, but it differs from the contemporary methods recommended by the literature. It has the propose of using the cientific method or continuation of the same method but made aware and applying it at accordance with the recommendations in contemporary methods
