Abstract

This article refers to the methodological adaptation for the preparation program of Archery athletes in the teaching and learning of the technique elements for the sport initiation, fifteen methodological steps were incorporated to the technique teaching in the sport areas as a complement to the main content of the units, they were applied in the training classes to the group object of this study. The population is composed by the  16 athletes of  10-12  years old category of Archery in the sport area of Siboney in Bayamo Garnma, 8 athletes were intentionally selected (4 boys and 4 girls). Empiric and theoretical methods were used that permitted to support and fit the preparation program for the athlete of this sport and to evaluate  the mastery of the technique by means of pedagogical tests as well as to value the effectiveness of the proposal. The results obtained by the experimentation shows a greater learning of the techniques by the athletes of this sport as object of study; this will help for a better technical preparation to enter in the high achievement centers.
