Level of satisfaction with the availability of technological resources in external evaluations of Cuban universities (Original).

Abstract

The objective of the study was to compare the state of satisfaction of students and workers at five higher education institutions regarding the availability of technological resources for the development of the training process during the external evaluation of these centers. The main research method used was the case study, supported by the use of statistical and mathematical methods for the processing of satisfaction surveys, applied through an online form through which information was collected from a total sample of 4,321 elements, between students and workers. As the main result, it can be noted that in a large percentage of indicators the level of satisfaction was found in the interval between Average and High, without exceeding the latter, and the relevance of using online survey systems was evident. As conclusions, it should be noted that there are differences in the level of satisfaction according to the stratum of the sample of the case study carried out, which is evident between institutions, workers and students and in the sample groups depending on the variable used for the realization. of the cross-analyses, both in the dimensions and in the indicators of the applied instrument. Furthermore, the results obtained allow us to assert that the use of online surveys favors the process of verifying evidence in external evaluation of universities.
