Abstract

A bibliographic review was made on the advances that humanity has developed in science, technology, medical and genetic treatments, during the last two decades of the century and the present century, which have opened a gap between ethical, legal, human and the same evolution of humanity, especially in the professional career of nursing because it carries a set of values ​​in conjunction with regulations that can perhaps cause contradictions. The vocation of nursing is first and foremost a humanitarian task. This research is of vital importance for the social practice of a profession that includes a value system and the search for knowledge that define the way of thinking and acting of the nurse (or) with the aim of deepening knowledge about ethics. and medical bioethics, for the best performance of the profession, in its different fields of action.
