The cuban peasant woman: the progressive empowerment process (Review)

Abstract

The Cuban peasant woman develops her participation with all the creative force that allows her to transform herself in the process of fighting for the permanence of the achievements and values of her society. Peasant women have been active participants in the long process traveled from the colonial stage to the present. They have had a decisive role in all the crucial moments that marked patterns in the development of the Cuban field and society every step of progress in its realization as a social subject has won at the expense of great personal efforts due to visible and invisible barriers; Objective and subjective factors that in the rural environment and in the peasant family environment tend to be more frequent and difficult to overcome.
