The close relationship between the massive media and the big centers of economic and political power offers to the world an image built by the big world powers, particularly the USA or the countries of the center that, as it is known are the ones who lead the road in these political relationships. In which the discrimination and the bad reputation that suffer the countries of the "third world" or countries of the periphery are constant elements nowadays. Seeks to analyze the current conditions in which the phenomenon of communication is carried out and their impact in the dynamics of the international relationships in the American continent. The challenges that represent these scenarios for the countries of the region mainly for the movements and left parties and the Latin American integration today.
