Web Application for the preparation of students of programming competition of the University of Granma (Original)

Abstract

The University of Granma is taking part in the yearly- International Movement of Programming, which is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-ICPC). The students who participate in the event fail to compete with the level of training required by the contest due to the lack of training and the lack of documentation related to the themes dealt with in the it. According to these needs, a Web application is implemented on the research to guide the preparation of the contestants and provide the necessary documentation for their formation. This paper presents the bases of the subject matter, the tool proposition for the development of the product, the description and construction of it as well. The product development process, "Informatic System for the training of the students for the programming contest in the University of Granma". It is performed by making use of the tools, techniques and methodologies most appropriate for the development of this application.
