Abstract

The article approaches results of an investigation based in the teachers' of the discipline of History didactic-methodological development in the 12nd class of the II cycle of Secondary Teaching in two schools of the city of Sumbe, in Angola. In this context methodological inadequacies were verified in the teachers. It was verified practices of traditional teaching of History by the methodologies, resources and language used, what shows in the students' low results in the domain of the knowledge and abilities. The general objective was bounded in elaborating a teaching methodology to provide a climate motivational, seeking to the accomplishment of an educational work of better quality, where the student can develop the learning active, significant and development. This way, it gets to enlarge capacities to observe, to describe, to identify similarities and differences among events actuals and more distant in the time, besides establishing relationships between present and past. The study stood out as contributing to the improvement of the process of teaching learning in the discipline of History of the second cycle with larger emphasis in the 12nd class in the mentioned schools. The investigation is of great importance and actuality, tends in bill that the teacher should be very informed about the methodological exhortations for the improvement of the progresses of the process of teaching learning of the discipline of History. Everything this implicates to endow the teacher of a professional preparation and a methodological conception of teaching to allow the student's integral development.
