The training of reading students from the rural primary school is a process that constitutes a vitally important element, for this reason the rescue, development and consolidation of the reading culture would mean walking and walking always in search of the horizon, although it is known that the Triumph is not at the end of the road, because that unfinished walk is a goal, an encounter and fulfillment. This article exhibits a study that approaches the epistemological characterization of reading encouragement, associated with the field of work in the rural primary school. The study is carried out with a qualitative approach from the Action Research methodology. From this analysis and description, and from the results of the initial diagnosis, the insufficiencies are pointed out, taking into account the interests of the fifth and sixth grade students for reading. Hence, the objective of this work is to implement a Reading Club to encourage reading, favor the promotion of a literary culture in the students of the multigrade class group 5 and 6. The observed way of approaching the contents related to animation to reading favors the promotion of a literary culture with the implementation of a Reading Club from the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach.
