The economic changes that within capitalism make societies places of dispute, carry with them deep inequities. Colombia and its rural school, sum process of strong detriment. A history of changes that, although it has managed to demonstrate public policies such as the PER and PEER, plans, programs, coverage projects and levels of professionalization for teachers; However, the daily life of the 21 century is telling in the face of the new pedagogical, science and technology challenges. At the same time, the rural school fails to address the pressing needs and dilemmas of the last century that require attention, such as the case of electrical connection in many villages and subregions of the country, access roads, libraries, appropriate classrooms, education programs in accordance with the rhythms of life of rural populations, basic services and the reduction of the digital divide, among other dilemmas, which turn out to be the biggest claims today
