Theoretical references of the development of saltability in the category 7-8 years of Artistic Gymnastics (Review)

Abstract

Artistic Gymnastics is a sport of early specialization where physical and technical preparation plays an important role. Educating these two elements proportionally in the same direction in the initiation stage guarantees future results and is a challenge in the work of each coach. However, previous studies carried out by the authors detected insufficiencies in the work of the saltability of the gymnasts category 7-8 years, mainly in the acrobatic and choreographic jumps, evidenced in the provincial pioneriles games. Attending to this problematic the present article exposes the theoretical referents (anatomo-physiological, psychomotor, psychological and pedagogical) that support the development of the saltability in the category previously mentioned, from the positions of different authors and the opinions of the authors on the subject under study.
