Transformative Participatory Action research as a tool for the systematization of experiences in the community (Original).

Abstract

The work is aimed at a group of inhabitants of a community in Venezuela, to develop capacities to identify their problems and opportunities, and find their own solutions to improve their realities. Its objective is: to implement the Transformative Participation Action Research Method, as a method that makes it possible to put the instruments of science and education at the service of building collective and scientific knowledge through the systematization of experiences to strengthen the organization and the capacity for social participation, in this case of the inhabitants of the Enmanuel community, of the Ezequiel Zamora municipality in the State of Aragua, Venezuela. Using the systematization of experience not as the simple collection of data, but also points to its ordering, to find the relationships between them and to discover the internal coherence of the processes established in practice, it is the construction of knowledge, it is to make theory of the Lived practice, a fundamental element for learning reality and transforming it, allows dimensioning this knowledge, data and practices to make social development sustainable. The systematization of experiences produces significant knowledge and learning that makes it possible to appropriate the meanings of the experiences, understand them theoretically and guide them towards the future with a transformative perspective. For this, methods such as: historical-logical, inductive-deductive, data collection, observation, interviews, surveys, among others, were used.
