Agronomic response of the corn crop to different doses of the herbicide Merlin (Original)

Cienaguilla of the CCS "Evelio Rodríguez" belonging to UEBIA Campechuela, county Granma was carried out the experiment with the objective of evaluating the answer of the herbicide Merlin (Isoxaflutole) GD 75% and its effects pre and postemergent in the control of overgrowths in the cultivation of the corn (Zea mays L.), the experiments were carried out in furrows of 10 m of long; in mark of plantation of 0,90 m of wide; 0,30 m among plants and a design of blocks was used at random with 3 you reply and four treatments. The application treatments with dose of 60 g.ha-1 for the T2, of 70 g.ha-1 for the T3 and of 80 g.ha-1 for the T4 and a control T1, economically viable dose of the product was applied and all the phases of the cultivation were embraced without affectations in the yields. The results demonstrate that the dose of 80 g.ha-1 (T4) it was the most appropriate for the agricultural treatment of the product Merlin in the control post-pre emergency, specifically against Cyperaceous and dicotyledonous.
