Abstract

The Objectives of Sustainable Development are part of the “21st Program” of the United Nations which are framed in a common fight against the poverty, the inequality, the hunger and the illness. The world has committed to reduce to the half the proportion of people without access to the drinkable water and services of basic sanitation, component proposed in the objective six. Our country has been applied strategies to achieve its execution. Every year 1.8 million people die in the world due to the sharp diarrhea illnesses, problematic that led us to think about as objective to describe the practices related to the environmental basic sanitation and their influence in the appearance of sharp diarrhea illnesses. Being studied a population of 610 houses to a resident's reason per unit, distributed in the 5 popular districts that conform the area of health Yara. In this territory, the sanitary hygienic situation showed deterioration in the components of the basic environmental sanitation; at the same time, the department of surveillance of health reported an increase of the rate of incidence of the sharp diarrhea illnesses which behavior, in the year 2012, in its own area contributed to the beginning of a upsurge of cholera in Cuba, this event caused significant economic damages to the country for illness concept, wages and inputs. It is a priority for the Cuban government to identify and to prevent any sanitary hecatomb which consequences affect the health of the populations, the development of the nation and the cultural economic exchange with the rest of the world.
