Abstract

The article aims to offer activities to contribute to the development of communication skills in English for occupational purposes of the members of the Personal Security Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior. For its development, theoretical methods are used: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, document analysis, modeling; empirical methods: observation, survey, interview, triangulation; and methods and techniques of descriptive and inferential statistics, which allow demonstrating the relevance of activities and effectiveness in social practice. This construct offers a concrete response to the dialectical contradiction between the need for the members of the Directorate of Personal Security of the Ministry of the Interior to develop communication skills in English for Occupational Purposes and the deficiencies that they show in their communicative performance in terms of linguistic aspects. , strategic, discursive and socioculture ; to contribute to the solution of the scientific problem: Insufficiencies in the development of communication skills in English for occupational purposes, which limit the communicative performance in terms of linguistic, strategic, discursive and socio-cultural aspects of the members of the Ministry's Personal Safety Directorate inland.
