Application of artificial intelligence in the management of dental emergencies
Keywords:
Artificial intelligence; dental emergenciesAbstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as an innovative tool in various areas of health, including dentistry. This work analyzes the application of AI in the diagnosis, treatment and management of dental emergencies, highlighting its benefits, challenges and future perspectives. A review of the literature on AI applications in stomatology was conducted, focusing on machine learning algorithms, image processing and clinical decision support systems. Recent studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of these technologies in clinical practice were analyzed. This monograph explores the applications of AI in the diagnosis, treatment and management of dental emergencies, as well as the ethical and safety implications of its implementation. Through a review of current literature, examples of emerging technologies and their impact on clinical practice are presented. Concrete examples of AI-based tools will be discussed, as well as their benefits and limitations.
