The current study was aimed to analyses how sport link are connected to psychological well-being in swimmers of Cuban national team. The sample was integrated by 31 swimmers to who were applied a questionnaire to know their perception about researched variables, principally, psychological well-being items based on Ryff scale (1989). Expert criteria, was applied for choosing psychological well-being items and statistical methods Shapiro-Wilk and T-Test for independent samples. As a result, sport retirement preparation and sport link are significantly connected to psychological well-being. The study concludes that the sport link, have a positive influence on retired athletes’ psychological well-being. This information guides to sport organizations and some others, to design some programs and strategies aimed to improve athletes’ quality of life to improve their quality of life based on these related factors.
