Abstract

The members of the personal security directorate of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) of Cuba, in their different actions, require knowledge of the English language to be in tune with scientific-technical development. The need to master this language is based on the various functions performed by the members of this direction; Among others, we can mention those of guaranteeing the security of foreign leaders and delegations that visit the country, as well as finding ways and means to transmit and exchange classified information with foreign counterparts. The article aims to offer an electronic book, with exercises and activities that help make viable the multilateral exchange between the students, the teacher and the group, based on the professional experiences of the members of Personal Security in their contexts of action. For its development, theoretical methods are used: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, document analysis, modeling; empirical methods: observation, survey, interview, triangulation; and methods and techniques of descriptive and inferential statistics, which allow demonstrating the relevance of the activities and the effectiveness in social practice.
