Abstract

The teaching of the English language plays an important role in the integrated formation of future professionals at “Manuel Fajardo” Physical Culture School, and it constitutes a necessity due to the technological and scientific development that demands mastery of the foreign language; to get acquainted with up-to-date information about the specialty. It is suggested a team teaching as an alternative to teach the English language in higher education. Professional characteristics of teachers are undertaken by teams; their possibilities to share teaching responsibilities; and performance in a social context.
