Abstract

The article presents the research carried out for the diagnosis of goal setting in a youth volleyball team category 16-18 years, from the province of Camagüey, consisting of 10 athletes. The contributions of this research are given by the contribution to the development of studies of goal setting in youth categories, since the characterization offered provides an analysis according to the categories determined for its study such as, individual goals, group goals, Temporary nature of the goals, related to the motivation for sports practice and the situations that arise in the team.
