Didactic Engineering for the visualization of the Padovan Sequence Through the Geogebra Software. (Original)
Keywords:
padovan sequence; geogebra; didactic engineering; theory of didactic situationsAbstract
The absence of the study of the Padovan Sequence in the teaching of History of Mathematics in undergraduate courses motivated this research, given the provocative particularity of their relationships. Thus, the objective of this work is to present a didactic proposal that enables the comprehension of this sequence through its geometric visualization with the support of the Geogebra software, from a didactic teaching situation. For its structuring, the methodology used in this work was Didactic Engineering, in its first two phases – preliminary analysis and a priori analysis – with the support of the Theory of Didactic Situations. The visualization of the Padovan Sequence with the contribution of the GeoGebra software, from the visual proof through the area of the equilateral triangle, has the potential to develop in students undergoing initial training an understanding of its properties, as well as providing subsidies to understand its limitations and difficulties. study, being components of a possible a posteriori analysis and continuation of this research in the course of the Master in Science and Mathematics Teaching.
