The History of the Childhood as a Historical Content in the Elementary Education. (Review)

In this article, it is revealed the evolution that has had the history of the childhood in the Elementary Education, keeping in mind that this topic has been insufficiently studied from the pedagogic theory. Their objective is guided to the determination of the tendencies that they characterize to the history of the childhood, as content of the teaching learning process of the Subject History of Cuba, in the second cycle of the Elementary Education; matter for which it was necessary to use to the study and critic of sources, as method of the theoretical level, which was sustained in the analysis and the synthesis, the induction-deduction and the historical thing and the logical thing, as procedures of the logical thought whose essential use resided in the analysis of the different consulted sources, among those that are: study plans, educational-methodological documents and master investigations and doctorate. The indicators are also declared that allowed to deepen in the characteristics of the history of the childhood in the Elementary Education and the stages in that the carried out study is divided, what facilitates the understanding of the same one and at the same time it is developing of the establishment of the existent nexus among the personal, family and community history, with the local and national, which possesses a direct impact with the instruction, the education and the historical-social formation of the elementary scholars.
