Abstract

Early childhood education leaves relevant traces in personal development at the cognitive, emotional and social level, important pillars in the structuring of the personality. This is why raising the quality of early childhood education is a challenge for educational systems in any country in the world and for Ecuador in particular. In correspondence with this idea, the work presented focuses on the proposal of playful strategies for the improvement of oral expression, as a fundamental communicative skill that boys and girls must possess to establish adequate relationships in different communication contexts. In correspondence to this end, an exploration of the main indicators of development of oral expression is carried out in the Guayaquil Educational Unit, Ambato canton, in the province of Tungurahua, and some strategies that can be used for its development are proposed. It has its genesis in the problems of oral expression presented by boys and girls between four(4) and five(5) years of age in this town.
