Abstract

The present work offers the result of a research carried out by the Chemistry staff, aimed at explaining the effect of organic substancies upon the environment, as educative purpose of Organic Chemistry courses.  The guiding principle of the study was centered on the didactic treatment of the core idea of the course: The application of substancies is conditioned by its properties and their chemistry structure.  Different scientific methods such as analytical-synthetic, the inductive-deductive, and the systemic approach used were. The designed didactic proposal is the result of the research project: “Improvement of the teaching-learning process of natural sciences” and it has been implemented during three academic years in the teaching-learning process of the Agriculture Engineering Major, and the Chemistry and Biology Bachelors of the Educations Majors. The results achieved aim at an adequate pertinence of the proposal.
