Abstract

This article addresses professional training in values ​​in response to the need to particularize patriotism due to the importance of the new generations that are formed in Cuban Higher Education Institutions of the XXI century. Its objective is to analyze the formative systematization of the testimonial historical memory about the fight against bandits, with emphasis on the territory of Granma, in the strengthening of the patriotism value for the university students. The research of an exploratory-descriptive type and, with a qualitative approach, where the documentary analysis was used as methods since it is based on the bibliographic review of books and articles, the life history method was used the individual interview based on autobiographical testimonies to five former combatants from the Bayamo and Jiguaní municipalities, of the Granma province, participants in intelligence operations; as well as security collaborators during the fight against bandits. The preparation, organization, study and restructuring of the testimonial historical knowledge were crucial the picked up autobiographical testimonies that, besides allowing to characterize the bandits like a social phenomenon, they evidence interesting and necessary knowledge you tune to the objective that intends the investigation.
