Abstract

The present work allows to expand the knowledge about the role of the teacher as a guide, advisor, facilitator, incentivator and leader of research activities, which, supported by the application of strategies aimed at developing scientific research skills, achieves high development of skills in the branch of scientific research knowledge, both in its field of action and in its sphere of action in the students of the Veterinary Medicine career, at the same time it is possible to encourage in them the vocation for research through the use of strategies that allow increasing the productivity and efficiency in research as a basic and essential contribution to the creation and updating of knowledge. Due to the importance and the primary role of student scientific research, this work is aimed at developing and activating competence in the scientific research component in Veterinary Medicine students from the perspective of a development research project in which students of the different academic years participate as actors of the research activity, which in turn integrate and are part of a student scientific group, whose responsibility is to solve the problems raised through the use of a methodological strategy that at the same time constitutes their instrument technological.
