Impact of Campechuela´s Municipality Universitary Campus at the Martial Jimenez community. Experiences of the Campeche Sociocultural intervention project

Abstract

The higher education has entered in a new stage in its relationship with the society, with the implementation of the Limits of the Economic and Social Politics of the Party and the Revolution, for this reason the Municipal University Center (CUM) play an outstanding role when interacting with the communities of the territory in the processes of socio cultural transformation for the local development. In this research some methods and theoretical techniques were applied such as: synthetic-analytic, inductive-deductive, systemic-structural-functional. And the empirical methods: the observation, the survey, the interview, the experiment and the statistical procedure As a result of their actions the CUM of Campechuela presents the community socio cultural project "Campeche" that consists in developing a system of actions to the different social actors, allowing the achievement of the community transformation by means of the administration of the knowledge and the popular participation, as well as to favor the sustainable development and the evolution of the environment of the  community of Marcial Jiménez located in Campechuela, endorsed by a group of impacts which  are exposed in this work.
