Abstract

The Cuban sugar industry constantly fights to recapture its paper in the Cuban economy to complete this objective it is traced strategies, it stops in each sugar campaign to be able to obtain bigger economic efficiency, and this way to be more competitive in the market the sugar and it’s derived as regards prices and quality of the products. This industry to achieve the mentioned objectives needs of more professionally and its workers' experience stops this way to achieve that in each harvest it is not the impression of being the first one but demonstrating that we have more than a century of experience in making sugar there the necessity to carry out the harvest with a bigger planning and with a smaller time lost in the campaign. In correspondence with the above-mentioned, the present work of diploma   summarizes the results of an investigation that it approached the scientific problem, referred to develop a methodological proposal for the evaluation of the economic effect caused by lost time and its relationship with the execution of the technical, economic and productive indicators of efficiency of the harvest.
