Characterization of the vegetation of hillock in palma del perro, Guisa, Granma province (Original)

Abstract

This study was conducted on a hillock of the village of Palma del Perro, in the municipality of Guise, who belongs to the phytogeographic subsector Bairense, belongs to the hummocks Table, south of the town of Baire, and have been little studied vegetation, given the importance of this knowledge to the care and conservation of plant diversity in general. The study area was divided into three ecotypes base, wall and top for a better use of the methods of geological mapping and sampling of vegetation. It was determined that the diversity in flora is the presence 46 species distributed in 35 families; endemism behaves to 17.77% of the flora of the hillock.
