Indicators of selection in the middle fund and fund athletes of eide Pedro Batista Fonseca category 12 - 13 and 14 - 15 years of the province of Granma (Original)

Abstract

Granma province has traditionally stood out as a quarry of middle and bottom runners, with outstanding results in national and international events; starting from the school games, youth, cross country, marathons and marhabana. Previous research has shown that there are conditions to develop these events. In recent years, however, the province no longer reaches these vanguard positions and is no longer a powerhouse. In the same way, enrollment in high-performance centers is insufficient. This problem can be motivated by many factors; one of them can be the selection of talents and towards that our research is directed, indicators of selection in the middle and bottom athletes of the EIDE Pedro Batista Fonseca category 12 - 13 years of the Province of Granma. To carry out this work,  theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods were used, which allowed the deepening of knowledge about this problem.
