Abstract

This essay had the purpose of knowing and evaluating the level of knowledge about factors associated with falls in the elderly. The level of knowledge was identified, different training activities on the subject were carried out and the initial instrument was applied again, verifying the results obtained before and after the educational intervention. Raising the level of knowledge after applying the educational intervention strategy. Knowledge on the topics was enriched: intrinsic and extrinsic factors associated with falls, consequences and importance of physical exercise in the prevention of falls; The impact of this intervention was verified by obtaining greater knowledge about the subject.
