Abstract

Older adults with arterial hypertension inserted into community physical activities demand a greater effort from the Physical Culture professionals who guide this rehabilitative and therapeutic process and much more, for those who use physical activity as a fundamental means to improve their quality of life and social insertion. The purpose of this article is the rehabilitation of older adults diagnosed with arterial hypertension from the application of low-impact therapeutic exercises to promote the physical and spiritual well-being of this age group, since the results obtained by tests and applied tests highlight the need to face this problem.
