Abstract

The research studies the incorporation of people with cerebral palsy into the physical activity - sports, as a way of inclusion and social integration for people with Special Educational Needs. The study is based on the development of a bonding project, under the direction of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Central University of Ecuador, whose objective is to encourage the massive practice of the game of Boccia, as an alternative of social inclusion in people with paralysis cerebral. The research used methods such as: the historical-logical, the analytic-synthetic, the systemic-structural-functional, the observation, and the participatory action research, which allowed to model and implement the strategy, which had as a sample people with paralysis cerebral that are members of Club Boccias Ecuador. The first results obtained show the impact and the social relevance of the project.
